Tupac Shakur's 1996 BMW drive-by shooting arrest: Where is the automobile 27 years later?

On September 7, 1996, the dazzling city of Las Vegas came to a halt following Mike Tyson's boxing victory.

Tupac Shakur, the star of West Coast hip-hop, exited the famous MGM Arena in a black 1996 BMW 750iL automobile.

Moments later, at a red light, a white Cadillac approached and fired a barrage of shots at the BMW.

Tupac was hit numerous times and died from his injuries six days later.

The BMW has a long history and has changed hands several times.

Only recently did an owner discover its dark background, which had a concealed compartment likely intended for weaponry.

The automobile that carried Tupac's fate is a disturbing reminder of that sad night.
